Senior Industrial Cybersecurity Resident Engineer

About the Role

Dragos is on a mission to safeguard civilization by securing industrial control systems and critical infrastructure. As a Senior Industrial Cybersecurity Resident Engineer, you will serve as the trusted technical defender embedded with major electric utilities, oil and gas operators, and chemical manufacturing plants.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy, tune, and optimize the Dragos Industrial Cybersecurity Platform within complex OT/ICS environments.
• Conduct passive network mapping and protocol analysis for industrial environments (Modbus, DNP3, IEC 61850, EtherNet/IP).
• Investigate anomalous industrial network behavior and triage OT threat alerts.
• Partner with operational plant engineers and corporate IT security to bridge the air gap safely.

Qualifications & Requirements

• 4+ years working in Operational Technology (OT), SCADA, DCS, or Industrial Automation environments.
• Solid understanding of Purdue Model network architectures and industrial networking.
• Familiarity with NERC CIP, NIST SP 800-82, or IEC 62443 standards.
• Certifications like GIAC GICSP, GRID, or GCIP are strongly desired.
